Autumn term

Life after levels: Making sense of assessment in primary schools – Kim Clark

9:15 – 10:15

This workshop will give you the opportunity to find out how the school is assessing children in their learning. It will help you to understand the end of Key Stage assessments, and how you can support your child with the new National Curriculum.

Supporting your child with Phonics – Rachel Whitely and Emily Bruggy

Friday 16th December 2016

9:15- 10:15

This workshop will help you to understand how we teach phonics in Key Stage 1, including helping you to understand the terminology used. There will also be practical strategies shared for how you can support your child at home. Within this workshop, we will also look at how you can support your child with their handwriting development.

Supporting your child with learning to spell – Kim Clark, Will Kirner and Sarah McIntosh
